Resilient Networks NYC wins APA Smart Cities Award

Resilient Networks NYC, a project developed by current Loeb Greta Byrum, has won a 2017 American Planning Association Smart Cities Award in the Technology Division. In response to the destructive effects of Hurricane Sandy on fragile communities in the NYC metropolitan area, Resilient Networks created a partnership model and curriculum modules to train local residents to design and build a digital and social support infrastructure of local wireless networks.
