Phil Freelon Photography Exhibit April 13

The first major show of Philip Freelon’s (LF 1990) photography is opening at the Craven Allen Gallery in Durham, NC.  Known as the architect of record for the Smithsonian National Museum of African American History and Culture in Washington, DC, Freelon sees a synergy between photography and architecture: “the expression of Structure is central to my design process, bringing a sense of order to the final composition.”
