More Insights About Rail: Alex Marshall on Cuba

When Alex Marshall (LF 2000) was cycling through Cuba, one of his biking companions collapsed. Marshall thus came face to face with Cuban infrastructure, starting with the hospital system, in a way he didn’t expect. Marshall and Julio César Pérez (LF 2002) view Cuba’s future from different vantage points, but they agree that the country’s potential lies in improving rail infrastructure as a catalyst for development.
