Noor Boushehri, Maria Letizia Garzoli, Elad Horn, Yunjie Li, Marcus Goodwin and Jane Philbrick, all first-year Masters of Design Studies Critical Conservation students, joined the 2014-15 Loeb Fellows and GSD counterparts in landscape, architecture and planning in Agra, India in February. They were there for the Extreme Urbanism: Planning for Conservation option studio, led by professor of Urban Design and Planning Rahul Mehrotra, focussing on Mughal riverfront gardens. In the next few days the LOEBlog will feature their impressions from their trip and their work to develop interventions to rejuvenate the city and its cultural assets.
An unexpected hitch in travel prompted the students to invent an alternative headline for the news article above.
