The Mudworks installation may be gone from the front of Gund, but the reverberations continue. A recent article in the Financial Times pays homage to the ancient building material rammed earth and traces its use around the world and through the ages. It quotes Anna Heringer (LF 2011): “There’s a presence with this material I can’t explain.
