Anthony Flint on Rules for Smart Cities

Anthony Flint (LF 2001) recently joined 200 leaders from academia, nonprofits, cities, and industry for an intensive workshop in Barcelona to establish the City Protocol, a framework of principles, guidelines and best practices emerging from the smart cities movement. His post in The Atlantic Cities discusses the work ahead for cities as they seek a common language to grapple with huge growth and sustainability needs as this century progresses.

Anthony Flint is a fellow at the Lincoln Institute of Land Policy in Cambridge, MA. His next book, The Raven: The Life of Le Corbusier, Maker of the Modern will be published in fall 2014 by Amazon Publishing.
