Alexandra Lange on Landscape Collage

Alexandra Lange, writing in Design Observer, mulls the two exhibits she saw of landscape collage, one at MOMA and the other at the Gardner Museum, curated by Charles Waldheim (professor and chair of landscape architecture) and Andrea Hansen. Lange is all for a rich aesthetic palette, but she isn’t convinced that the new digital tools for rendering landscape images live up to their old-school predecessors.
