A Connected Community is On the Table

Cheryl Hughes believes ardently that “event-places,” which she researched as a Loeb Fellow in 2004, create the space for civic dialogue and a shared sense of community. Her Chicago initiative On the Table, soon to have its third iteration on May 10, is a perfect example of how and why this works.
